Modified Silicone Sealant, also known as MS or hybrid sealant, is a specially formulated derivative of silicone designed for special applications in the construction and manufacturing industries. It may also be referred to as modified silicone polymer or modified polyurethane.
It combines the tenacious adhesion and paintability of traditional Polyurethane Sealants with the flexibility and workability of RTV silicone sealants.
This adhesive-sealant formulation has very little odor and has low VOC content. It meets most green, eco-friendly building standards and requirements.
Nexo-Flex MS-1000 is a modified silicone (MS) premium hybrid sealant and adhesive that has excellent adhesion to a variety of construction materials including vinyl, aluminum, concrete, wood, glass, metal, plywood and many other substrates.
Nexo-Flex MS-1000 has little-to-no odor and is VOC compliant. It is highly recommended for interior and exterior applications and can even be applied to wet surfaces.
